At Britebound, our commitment to grantees goes far beyond providing funding. We aim to be a true partner — offering access to resources, expertise, and peer learning opportunities that help strengthen organizational capacity and amplify impact.
One way we do this is through the Grantee Learning Community (GLC) — a quarterly virtual learning community launched in 2023 that brings together a network of more than 80+ current and past grantee organizations for shared learning, collaboration, and connection. Participation in the GLC is optional and independent of funding, with organizations engaging because they recognize its value and relevance to their work. Most GLC sessions features guest speakers from Britebound or the broader education-to-career ecosystem, sharing insights on emerging trends, best practices, and innovative approaches. A key component of the GLC is designated peer-to-peer time, where grantees can connect directly to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and spark new partnerships and collaborations.
Past sessions have included:
- Workshops on data collection and research methods.
- Insights on federal and state funding sources and tools to streamline grant development.
- Communications and storytelling sessions focused on perfecting organizational messaging and elevator pitches.
A defining feature of the GLC is its dedicated peer space — a setting intentionally designed for open, honest conversation. Breakout sessions are unrecorded and not facilitated by Britebound staff or funders to eliminate power dynamics and allow participants to speak freely. This approach has resonated across the field, inspiring several foundations to adopt similar peer-led practices in their own convenings.
Looking ahead to 2026, Britebound will deepen grantee support by partnering with Catalyst Exchange to pilot access to the Resilience Hub — a new technical assistance initiative offering on-demand consulting in areas like scenario planning, finance, strategic communications, and organizational strategy.
Together, these efforts reflect Britebound's ongoing commitment to building a stronger, more connected grantee community — one that fosters shared learning, drives innovation, and advances collective impact across the education-to-career landscape.
